Bio

Madalena Daleziou is a translator, educator, and speculative fiction author from Greece. She graduated from the University of Athens’ English Literature department in 2019 and holds an MLitt in Fantasy Literature from the University of Glasgow. Her work has been nominated for the Puschart Price. She has been shortlisted for the Rhysling Award (2023) and for Brave New Weird (2025).

Madalena is currently editing her first short story collection, a dark academia-tinted assemblage of stories informed by her experience of immigration and the housing crisis. She is also working on her YA novel. Both works feature great numbers of ghosts.
